DESCRIPTION

DECOSTONE SW is a water-repellent, transparent (colourless) impregnation based on silanes and siloxanes intended for protecting mineral construction materials and wood. The product penetrates very well into the underlying surface and preserves its natural appearance. It is used on the surfaces of building components made from natural and artificial materials (cement products, bricks, rock, wood), outdoors or indoors. Due to its special composition, it can seep deep into the underlying surface.

Provides additional protection against pollutants and improves the self-cleaning effect. Does not form a film and thus does not significantly change the permeability of water vapours.

USE

Instructions for Work: Decostone SW is ready for use as supplied. For application in two coats. The second layer should be applied before the first completely dries.

Before use, the underlying surface must be clean, dry and without impurities (oil, grease etc.) and must not exposed to direct sunlight during application. The surface the coating is being applied to must be at room temperature.
The optimum temperature for work is between +5°C and +35°C, relative humidity must not exceed 85%. Work should be performed in well ventilated rooms. Use personal protective equipment.

Coverage: approximately 0.2-0.5 l/m2; the coverage depends on the porosity of the underling surface it is being applied to.

Drying: The coating becomes dry to the touch after approx. 2 hours. Drying time depends on the weather conditions (humidity, temperature) and the type or absorbency of the material.

CONTAINERS AND STORAGE

Containers:
Plastic jerricans: 1 l, 5 l, 10 l, 50 l, 200 l, 1000 l

Storage:
In a dry and closed room, at temperatures between +5°C and 35°C, protected against frost and direct exposure to the sun and in the original/closed container.

APPLICATION

Tools:
Brush, roller.

Cleaning:
Tools should be cleaned with water and detergent immediately after use.
