DESCRIPTION

DECOLAZUR SUPER is a glaze coating based on alkyd resins intended for the preservation of wood surfaces in the most demanding weather conditions.

It can be used outdoors and indoors. It provides excellent and long term protection of the wood against atmospheric influence, emphasises its natural appearance/structure and enriches its colour. Select Decolazur Super when you want to achieve a silky/glossy finish on the painted surface.

The coating is simple to apply and renew, is vapour permeable, provides strong protection from UV rays, gives a glossy/silky lustre, does not contain biocides.

USE

Instructions for Work: Decolazur Super is ready for use as supplied. Before using the product, mix thoroughly and apply 2 to 3 coats of the glaze – depending on whether new wood is being coated or an old coating is being renewed. When renewing old coatings, the underlying surface must be free from impurities and flimsy particles (old paint). Apply the second coat after 24 hours. The optimum temperature for work is from + 5ºC to + 35ºC. Work should be performed in well ventilated rooms. Use suitable personal protective equipment.

When protecting new wood (outdoor surfaces), use the Decobase basic coat/impregnation for the first coating.

Coverage: 1 l is suitable for approximately 8 to 12m2 for two applications. The coverage depends on the method of application, the type of wood and its surface treatment.

Drying: The coating is dry to touch after approx. 6 hours. The next application should be applied after 24 hours. Drying time depends on the weather conditions (humidity, temperature) and the thickness of the application/film.

CONTAINERS AND STORAGE

Containers:
Metal containers: 1 l, 2.5 l, 5 l, 10 l, 20 l

Storage:
In a dry and closed room, at temperatures from +5°C to +35°C, away from the open fire and heat sources in the original packaging/closed containers.

APPLICATION

Tools:
Brush, roller (tools must be resistant to organic solvents).

Cleaning:
Tools should be cleaned with a solvent for cleaning brushes (white spirit, special gasoline).
