DESCRIPTION
DECOSTONE AW is an acrylic impregnation (transparent) with high gloss intended for the protection of porous surfaces of various construction materials (indoor and outdoor use); protects the surface, decoratively emphasizes it and gives it a silky lustre/wet look. It is suitable for protecting and decorating construction surfaces that are made from natural construction materials (rock, marble, porphyry, washed slabs, porous rock) as well as artificial construction materials (brick, tiles, ceramics, decorative plaster elements, concrete etc.). Due to its special composition, the impregnation can seep deep into the base and form a waterproof film/layer with a silky lustre; it has a good grip. It provides additional protection against pollutants and corrosion is resistant to unfavourable weather conditions and very resistant to lyes present in concrete products.
CHARACTERISTICS

USE
Instructions for Work: Decostone AW is ready for use as supplied. Before and during use, mix the product thoroughly. For application in two coats. The second layer should be applied after a minimum of 4 hours or when the first application is completely dry. Determine the exact coverage level based on tests on an individual surface.
Before use, the underlying surface must be clean, dry and without impurities (oil, grease etc.) and during application it must not exposed to direct sunlight. The surface on which the coating is being applied must be at room temperature. The optimum temperature for work is from +5°C to +35°C, the relative humidity must not exceed 85%. Work should be performed in well ventilated rooms. Use suitable personal protective equipment.
Coverage: 1l is suitable for approx. 6-8m2; the coverage depends on the porosity of the underlying surface the coating is being applied to and the method of application or tool for application.
Drying: The coating becomes dry to the touch after approx. 1 hour. The next layer should be applied after a minimum of 4 hours. Drying time depends on the weather conditions (humidity, temperature) and the thickness of the application/film.
Walkable: after approx. 4 hour
